Friends, United in Christ, Nurturing Each Other and the World
One Word!  Just one simple word and it affects us all. As a matter of fact, this one word is at the core of what is most important in our lives, yet we often neglect it. I have discovered  that when you learn what God has to say about this word, it can
transform every area of your life.
So, for just a moment, let me share something with you about …
RELATIONSHIPS.
Friendly or formal. Intimate or platonic. Personal or digital. Our lives are filled with all kinds of relationships — Husbands. Wives. Children. Grandchildren. Friends. Neighbors. Coworkers. Business partners. Bosses. Employees. Facebook “friends”. Twitter followers.
No one is an island. We all are touched by relationships. In addition, we all need God’s help navigating the challenges they can bring. Jesus ranked healthy relationships as the key to a healthy life – and named it as the greatest commandment and lived out as the greatest commitment.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.”  And, the second is like to it:  “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Matthew 22:37-40
Because when we invite God in …
RELATIONSHIPS BECOME THE LIFE-GIVING, FAITH-BUILDING, IRON-SHARPENING EXCHANGE GOD CREATED THEM TO BE.
You know, it is sad to think that so many relationships—marriages, family bonds, friendships—are sources of pain. But hurt and separation are not part of God’s plan.  God has filled His Word with promises and instructions to help you build relationships that will last a lifetime.  Why?
Relationships matter to God!  When you make Him the center of a relationship, it can’t help but flourish! God will do what you cannot when you put Him first, healing and strengthening your marriage, your family, and your friendships!
Think about it!
